September flew by and October is tomorrow. I am very excited to see what new adventures it will bring. And now it’s time to take a quick look at my September
First of all, I was very happy to participate in September Adventure watercolor challenge at Doodlewash, I love challenges because not only they are full of interesting prompts, they motivate me to go all the way until the end.
Here’s my September Watercolor sketchbook, I used it in part as a journal, recording some thoughts along with the pictures. Some subjects were more trying, some were familiar and comfortable (water! ocean! how I love it!)
Here’s the quick flip-through of my watercolor sketches (done in Pentalic sketchbook with Koi Watercolors or Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors)
In addition to that I tried out a couple of illustration activities from Make Art That Sells
It was rather fun, although creating human characters still a bit of a challenge, I drift towards animals again. I am considering taking a full course in the future.
I have finally received and set up my new printer and I am ready to open and Etsy shop in a near future. My fall cards are ready and I just sent a whole bunch of them to be sold in the best coffee house in Denver area- Sweet Bloom .
I might do another art challenge in October (next month looks quite busy, but still I will try) and looking forward to preparing for the holidays.
Hope October is amazing for every one!
