August is over and September started, how fast time flies when one is having fun 😀
Let’s take a look at this past week and talk about plans for September:
Again, done two paintings, both on Sunday
This one is for @artofpastel instagram challenge (will go on instagram on Tuesday as per community rules)

This one is drawn from my head, I am noticing that a tiny house pops up often in my paintings
even though it’s still quite hot, I can feel the autumn in the air, can’t wait to see all the gold on the trees
Plans for September: To carry on with the challenge. A friend suggested I use my pastels in another home decor collection, so I might work on that too.
2. Make Art That Sells (my MATS adventures can be seen on instagram under the tag #greenrainartmats): Interesting week working on Ceramics. Learned so much, yet again. It was also a week of self-doubt and questioning myself and my abilities. But in the end I resolved to have fun and drew objects I want to have in the house.
I especially want the houses lanterns 🙂

In order to prepare for this assignment I worked on my lettering:
Plans for September: I still have one week to go in my Home Dec class, the wood! I have to study a final unit of my Mats A class before another Live course dedicated to Children’s illustration.
I have just signed up to FolioFocus 10 week class, it’s my first time and I am very excited!
3. For #greenrainartfromlife I drew two balls of yarn. I am planning to continue with the challenge throughout the September
my kids have clothes made out of these 😀
4. For 52 weeks illustration challenge (all drawings for this challenge can be now seen under #greenrainart52w tag on instagram) I drew self-care bucket list. Will continue with weekly drawings throughout the month of September as well
now I just need to follow it!
5. More quick doodles for my illustrated journal (See all on instagram under #greenrainartij ), I tried to include some lettering in it as well

So there it is. Surface and pattern will be my main priority in September, most likely. I am also working on some new holiday cards. I have a few up in my Etsy shop already, and more are coming shortly.
