This week, as I expected is much more intense in terms of the duties outside of art. I also had a some health challenges. Yet, I have got some daily practice in, and hopefully weekend will give me more time.

Let’s take a look at what was going on this week:

1. Daily illustrated journal continues. I had some mixed results this week, but so far it was more true to what was actually going on in my life- wind, walk and an exhibit here

2. I am ok with how my pastel drawing turned out.

3. Digital illustration for Week 2 of 52 weeks challenge turned out brighter than I meant it. I feel that this week especially I fall short on so many attempts…but on the other hand it looks so much like my cat, I posted it anyway 😀

4. Inspiration of the first half of the week: Star Wars and the Power of Costume Exhibit that is currently taking place in the Denver Art Museum. I have always been fascinated with the process of creating costumes for a motion picture, as well as concept art. The sketches I’ve seen today, a look into the process of creation of these clothes -all left a deep impression.

And of course the costumes themselves!
